This floral bookplate is what I call Medieval Modern. Medieval because of the climbing pattern with the vine - it reminds me of the tapestries filled with flowers and herbs from the Middle Ages.
Modern because of the cheery color (Medievals are generally jewel toned) and the stylized drawing method.
This is one of the bookplates I use for myself, along with a handful of others, and I often place it in my gardening books. So - if you're a Medieval Modern sort of person, and/or you have a garden filled with herbs like Rue and Rosemary and flowers like Violets and old Roses...perhaps this bookplate will speak to you.
